Not Neon

Description:

Not Neon is a 2D top-down roguelike shooter where you fight waves of enemies. After each wave, you can choose between two upgrades to help you prepare for the next wave or heal up to full health. This game is made for Brackeys Game Jam 2025.2

Controls:

WASD	Move
Space	Dash
Left Click	Shoot
Right Click	Collect XP orbs

Game Mechanic:

Once you fill your XP bar, a shop will appear where you can choose between two upgrades or healing. If you choose an upgrade, your streak will increase. This means that the available upgrades in the next shop will be stronger because they scale with the streak. However, picking heal will reset your streak. This means you have to manage your health and streak to gain power.

More Power -> Less Health, More Health -> Less Power
